While chatrooms can be a fun way of communicating with people, there are also a few things that any young person talking to friends in chatrooms needs to think about: Do you give out personal information, or anything which could help someone identify you or where you live or go to school? Have you thought about meeting, or actually gone ahead and met someone you first met in a chatroom? Have you gone into a private arena in a chatroom, where your conversation is not seen or monitored by anyone else? Have you had comments made to you in a chatroom which made you feel uncomfortable?
